Emma
Centre Director
Hello, my name is Emma Robertson, and I am proud to be the Centre Director at Gurwood Early Learning. I'm incredibly excited to lead this amazing team and continue building a strong, supportive environment for our children, families, and educators.
My journey in early childhood education began in 2013, starting as an assistant educator. Over the years, I've worked hard to grow professionally, taking on roles such as Educational Leader, Assistant Director, and Director. Through these experiences, I discovered my true passion—leading and mentoring teams to continuously improve our practices and create meaningful, lasting outcomes for children and their families.
Outside of work, I'm a proud mum of four and a grandmother to one, with another grandchild on the way. Family means everything to me, and I love spending quality time together—whether we're out camping, cruising, or enjoying a trail run. I bring this same sense of connection, commitment, and enthusiasm into my role each day, and I'm dedicated to making Gurwood ELC a place where every child feels safe, supported, and inspired to learn.

Childcare is my passion I love getting to know families and their children and being the best educator i can be for their children is my main goal!
Robyn
Inclusion Support
Hi, my name is Robyn Cutler, and I've been a proud member of the early childhood education and care industry for over 23 years. I hold a Certificate III in Children's Services.
I was born in Casino on the North Coast of NSW and moved away when I was 21. I've been happily married to my husband Phil for over 35 years, and together we have four wonderful children and eleven beautiful grandchildren who are the light of our lives.
Outside of work, I love exploring Australia in our caravan, especially relaxing around a campfire during winter. On weekends, I enjoy cheering on the Swifts in netball and am a loyal supporter of St George and GWS Giants in the footy. More recently, I've taken up rock painting as a creative hobby — I find joy in leaving these painted treasures in public places for others to find and enjoy.
I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of this rewarding profession and to contribute to the growth and happiness of the children in our care.

Perri
Assistant Room Leader - Bandicoots
Hi, I'm Perri. I've always had a natural love for being around children their energy, honesty and curiosity bring so much meaning to my day.
I chose a career in childcare because I truly believe in the importance of those early years. Where every moment, big or small, helps shape who a child becomes.
I love encouraging creativity, independence, and kindness and seeing each child's confidence grow as they learn and discover new things.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors or just grabbing a coffee.
Jane
Team Leader/Co-Team Leader – Quokkas
I have a deep appreciation for the color yellow, as it symbolizes the brightness and vibrance of the sun. I have a passion for traveling and discovering new places.
While I enjoy listening to music, I must admit that I am not a skilled singer.
I became an educator because it has always been my passion. From a young age, I took on the role of teacher and caregiver for my younger siblings. In high school, during career guidance day, students were encouraged to dress in the uniform of their desired profession. I chose to wear the uniform of an educator. My heart is drawn to children, and I feel a strong desire to nurture them, care for them, and be a part of their early learning journey.
